Arcantus fuses ancient sounds with contemporary beats and styles, combining Marilyn Sherwood’s intricate vocal harmonies with mediaeval instruments, like the hurdy-gurdy, pipes and cittern and vibrant elements from global musical traditions. African and Asian drums provide a rhythmic pulse, often layered with modern electronics and beats, to create a genre-defying soundscape.

Caduceus brings together the grandeur of symphonic rock with a rich tapestry of world music and mediaeval elements. The music leads the listener through vivid musical landscapes, often inspired by Celtic and Eastern European folk.

A soulful tapestry of Celtic energy and African spirit; this is CeltAfrique. Celtic melodies, played on traditional instruments, merge with African choral and drum traditions, and contemporary beats, immersing the listener in a global musical soundscape.

Celtronica fuses the haunting melodies of Celtic music with the atmospheric grooves of trip-hop, blending fiddle, flutes, whistles, and uilleann pipes with hypnotic beats, downtempo rhythms, and deep basslines. The music weaves lyrical tunes and songs with lush electronic textures, rooted in the rich heritage of Celtic traditions but infused with a modern, cinematic edge.

Mark Bedford's first album, “Heritage,” features arrangements of mid and down-tempo Celtic themes. Mark is joined by leading musicians, such as uillean piper Steáfán Hannigan (known for his work with Loreena McKennitt, amongst others) and violinist Ric Sanders (Fairport Convention.)

"Arq Music's commitment to both artistic vision and sustainable practices is truly commendable. Their artists create music that resonates deeply, packaged with care for our planet." - Anne Cooper.
